Honor an Activist

While we appreciate donations in any amount, the NYSUT Legacy Fund recognizes honorees at three contribution levels. All donors receive a letter of thanks, on behalf of the statewide union, for their contribution.

  • $250 – Honorees receive a Legacy Fund pin, certificate, commemorative coin and keychain.
  • $500 – Honorees receive a Legacy Fund pin, certificate, commemorative coin and keychain, and recognition in NYSUT United.
  • $1,000 – Honorees receive a Legacy Fund pin, certificate, commemorative coin and keychain, recognition in NYSUT United and a tribute at the annual NYSUT RA.
  1. In accordance with Section 6113 of the Internal Revenue Code, contributions to the NYSUT legacy Fund are not deductible for Federal (or New York State ) income tax purposes as charitable contributions.
  2. The NYSUT Legacy Fund is not a “Charitable Organization” as defined under New York Exec. Law Article 7-A.
  3. Contributions to the NYSUT Legacy Fund will not be used for political or legislative purposes.
