The union recognizes Women's History Month in March with a free poster featuring Elizabeth Cady Stanton, an American social activist, abolitionist and leading figure in the early women's rights movement.
Stanton's Declaration of Sentiments, presented at the first women's rights convention in 1848 in Seneca Falls, is often credited with initiating the first organized women's rights and suffrage movements in the United States.
Printable copies are available at nysut.org/publications.
Local presidents can request posters in bulk; quantities are limited.
