NYSUT represents more than 78,000 active academic faculty and other professional staff members who work on senior campuses of the State University of New York, the City University of New York, community colleges and private colleges and universities.
NYSUT’s Research and Educational Services works closely with other NYSUT offices in supporting collective bargaining, legislative advocacy at both the federal and state level, and political action on behalf of our higher education affiliates. The staff also advocates on behalf of the higher education affiliates in policy-making deliberations of the New York State Board of Regents and the State Education Department.
