Six of the 10 school districts that saw their budgets defeated on the first vote in May gained approval on revotes in June. They were Canaseraga, Brockport, Jasper-Troupsburg, Elwood, Highland and Bedford. Jasper-Troupsburg achieved a 60 percent supermajority on the revote to override their tax levy limit. Bedford, Canaseraga, Elwood and Highland had originally sought a tax cap override, but did not on the revote. Brockport did not seek an override in May or June.
Three district budgets were defeated. All three — Florida, Tuckahoe and Waverly — had sought an override in May and tried for the supermajority again on revote.
One district, West Valley, adopted a contingency budget rather than conduct a revote.
