It's an honor
Victoria Berger, a special education teacher at PS 20 Anna Silver School and United Federation of Teachers member, received the Bernard Cohen Memorial Award, presented by the New York State Council for the Social Studies. The award is given to an individual who demonstrates exceptional teaching potential in the first three years of teaching.
