February is Black History Month and NYSUT is celebrating with a poster highlighting A. Philip Randolph, a labor leader and social activist who founded the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters in 1925.
The organization was the first African-American-led labor union to sign a collective bargaining agreement with a major U.S. corporation and to be chartered by the American Federation of Labor.
The poster is free. You can download printable posters here or order from NYSUT via email at orders@nysutmail.org. Reference Project No. 514B/12; include your name and mailing address.
