Black History Month: A. Philip Randolph poster
February is Black History Month and NYSUT is celebrating with a poster highlighting A. Philip Randolph, a labor leader and social activist who founded the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters in 1925. The organization was the first African-American-led labor union to sign a collective bargaining agreement with a major U.S. corporation and to be chartered by the American Federation of Labor.
