This terrible pandemic has been a time of crisis, hardship and heartbreak for all of us.
But it's also been a time of heroes.
Please join me in thanking and supporting NYSUT's #HealthCareHeroes, whose monumental efforts on the frontlines of this crisis have been nothing short of remarkable.
NYSUT is accepting donations to our Disaster Relief Fund specifically to purchase and provide personal protective equipment, food, and other supplies to our dedicated health care professionals across New York state. These inspiring heroes have literally been putting their lives on the line to serve our sick and vulnerable citizens, even though they often lack the necessary equipment and gear they need to keep themselves safe.
Our health care works are there for us. Let's let them know we're there for them, too!
