This Thanksgiving, I have so much to be thankful for.
I'm thankful for the great public schools we have all across the state. I'm thankful for the opportunities our students have to fulfill their potential and succeed in whatever future they choose. I'm thankful for the wonderful educators, health care professionals and other working people who make our lives better every single day. And I'm thankful for the progress we make when we stand and fight together.
In short, I'm thankful for you.
For your passion and professionalism...
...for your hard work and activism...
...and for your commitment to stand arm in arm with our fellow working women and men across the state...
...I am thankful for you!

It is true three hundred and sixty-five days a year, but on Thanksgiving — most of all — we want to express just how grateful we are to all our members, supporters, students, parents, and friends. You make New York's public schools, colleges, hospitals — and NYSUT itself — all that they are today.
