Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will address more than 2,000 delegates to New York State United Teachers' annual Representative Assembly at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center during a program that begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Clinton is expected to discuss her support for public education and working families in her address to the 600,000-plus member NYSUT, the state's largest union. NYSUT's national affiliates – the American Federation of Teachers and National Education Association – have both endorsed Clinton in the primary, and NYSUT members are actively working across the state in advance of New York's April 19 balloting.
The campaign stop is not open to the public.
