The New York State Assembly Standing Committee on Education is holding public hearings Jan. 31 to review school districts' compliance with state requirements for physical education classes. Within the last year, the State Education Department has found a number of school districts are not complying with physical education curriculum requirements. The Committee on Education is seeking testimony to evaluate implementation of physical education programs throughout the state.
The hearings are taking place at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 31 in the Assembly Hearing Room, 250 Broadway, Room 1923, 19th Floor, New York, New York.
